{Grayson Day Festival}

I was so excited to be part of Grayson Day this year! This is a family event full of food, live music, and all kinds of vendors selling their wares. I was lucky enough to meet many really great people and talk to some other local small businesses. Everyone was so nice and it was truly a wonderful way to spend a Saturday promoting Hugghins Photography!
Here are a few shots of my booth- my very first! A special thanks goes out to my amazing husband for all his help and hard work building and setting up. We spent two weekends building the back two walls complete with braces. They turned out great and worked like a charm on the rocky terrain!

  1. Hi, Ashley! So I need to know how y'all made those walls!!! I did a booth this last weekend, and used easels, but my stuff blew all over the place... those braced walls would've worked way better. Your display is just gorgeous. Beautiful job- hope you found many new clients through your booth. :)

  2. Wow, thanks! We built them as if we were framing up a wall, but used plyboard instead of drywall. They are 6 feet tall x 4 feet wide, so 2- 2x4s 6ft long, and 2- 2x4s 4ft long. Then we added "studs" crosswise for support. Then attached the piece of plyboard and added trim. The braces are 2x4's as well- one on each side cut at a 45 to attach to the wall, then to another 2x4 on the ground. I wish I would have taken a photo, but we had to deconstruct them to store them in our garage! email me and I could get you some more info if you want!
