{Pretty Baby Bowtique} | Gwinnett County Portrait Photographer

I love all things pretty! I will admit that my addiction is probably due to the fact that I only produce little boys, so I must live vicariously through my clients! I had two little princesses in the studio to help me showcase some of the newest creations from Pretty Baby Bowtique. If you haven't already, go Like them on Facebook. I use them on newborn as well as baby shoots and they are even prettier in person!

To see all of Pretty Baby Bowtique's gorgeous headbands- check out their Etsy Shop! (but beware- you'll want to buy everything in the store!)

{Party of Three} | Gwinnett County Portrait Photographer

I first met Michelle last Spring when she was pregnant with her sweet little baby girl. I was thrilled when she called to ask me to document her daughter at one year. This little babe wasn't so sure about me, so Mom and Dad did a great job of keeping her happy and smiling and we were able to capture some amazing shots showing their love for eachother! Such a sweet and playful family!

{Happy Easter!}

I hope all of you had a wonderful Easter weekend! Ours was filled with family, egg hunts, and of course, TONS of candy (so much for working on that bikini body!)

This photos also serves as proof that even photographers can't get their kids to look "un-goobery" in photos. They were ready to go find their baskets I guess! Good grief! ;)

{A Sweet Little Trio} | Gwinnett County Portrait Photographer

This past weekend was a beauty and not only did I get to spend it in one of my favorite places, but I got to hang out with my precious nephew! I headed over to downtown Athens and was greeted with a big, toothy smile! This boy was in such a good mood that eventually turned silly and made for some great memories for mom and dad! Thanks for a wonderful afternoon guys!

Someone had fun exploring Gigi's old wagon...

{What to Wear} Baby Bumps | Gwinnett County Maternity Photographer

Back in 2003, when I was pregnant with my first son, there wasn't much in the way of "maternity fashion". Yes, there were the long shirts that had the cute little tie right above the bump, and who can forget those stylish maternity pants that covered your entire belly and stopped just shy of your neck. (I had two pairs...)
Gone are the days of ugly pregnancy duds. There are even entire stores dedicated to maternity clothes! I decided that when I got preggo again in 2007 that I would do it different. I continued to wear regular clothes to show off my bump. I did have to buy some maternity pants, but now they make them with just a small little elastic band at the top. I could deal with that. I didn't buy anything that I couldn't wear after I had my baby too. I found that buying just a size bigger was great for maternity and post-baby pudge. I bought regular elastic-waist skirts and wore cardigans that I already had. My clothes always do double duty!

So if you are expecting, here's my advice- show-off that belly, don't hide it! Form-fitting clothes are adorable on you! Here are a few of my favorite looks:

And for even more ideas and inspiration, I came across this great blog post!
